Show Rules |
1.All
show fish must be pre-registered by Oct. 13, 2000. The Show Chairman must be notified of
substitutions or refund requests for scratched entries as soon as possible. The
substitutions/refunds will be at the Chairmans discretion and can only be requested
prior to entries being placed in the show room. |
2. Entry Fee is $2.00 per entry, absolutely no walk in entries. |
3. You may enter two fish in one compartment but only one entry will be
judged. Entries must be split in two tanks to have both fish judged. |
4. Entries may be set-up Friday Oct. 20th from 3 p.m. until 10
p.m. and Saturday Oct. 21st from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. |
5. NJAS/JSAS will provide 2 1/2 gallon tanks, betta bowls and air and
tubing. |
6. You must provide your own 10 gallon or larger tanks, &
air stones. A limited number of air stones will be available for purchase from NJAS/JSAS.
Any tank 10 gallons or larger will be permitted to use sponge filters in place of air
stones. |
7. Nothing is permitted in the show tanks
other than the items listed in Rule No. 6. The only exception to this rule is heaters and
inside filters may be placed in Discus tanks ONLY. |
8. Any fish entered in the wrong class will be reclassified by the
judges. |
9. Judging of fish will take place Saturday Oct 21st from 1-3
p.m. |
10. All awards will be presented at the Awards Banquet. |
11. Entries must be removed from the fish room on Sunday, October 22,
2000 by 11 a.m. Any entries not removed by 12 p.m. will be considered a donation and
auctioned. |
12. Neither the NJAS, JSAS nor the Hotel will be responsible for
the loss or damage to the fish and or equipment or to the personal injury before, during
or after the exhibit. |
